Frequently Asked Questions

New to animal communication? You’re not alone. Here are the questions people ask me most often. If yours isn’t here, I’m always happy to hear from you.

What is animal communication?

Animal communication is the transfer of feelings, words, and images between humans and animals. It’s a natural, intuitive ability that everyone is born with — but as we grow older, the logical side of our brain tends to take over. Through my training with Joan Ranquet at Communication with All Life University, I’ve learned that this innate skill can be awakened and practiced, enabling clear communication with all species.

How does a remote session work?

Many of my sessions are done remotely, and distance doesn’t get in the way of connecting with your animal. Before we connect, I’ll ask you for a photo of your animal, their name, your answers to a few short questions, and what you’d like the session to focus on. At our appointed time, we’ll connect by phone or video call. I’ll spend the first 5 to 10 minutes quietly connecting with your animal — muting myself and turning off my camera if we’re on video — then I’ll come back, share everything I received, and answer your questions. Sessions are 30 or 60 minutes, or 45 minutes for an animal who has crossed over.

What do I need to prepare?

Before your session, please send me:

  • A photo of your animal
  • Your animal’s name
  • Your answers to a few short questions I’ll send you
  • What you’d like the session to focus on

Then simply show up at your appointed time and be ready to listen. Your pet will do the rest!

What if I'm skeptical?

Skepticism is completely welcome here! All I ask is that you come with an open mind and set aside any limiting beliefs for the time we’re together. Bring your questions, show up at our appointed time, and let the session speak for itself. Many of my most enthusiastic repeat clients started out as skeptics!

What kinds of animals do you work with?

All of them — except humans! 😄 Dogs, cats, horses, birds, reptiles, frogs, and everything in between. If it has a heartbeat, whether it has fur, fins, feathers, or scales, I can connect with it.

Can you connect with a pet that has crossed the Rainbow Bridge?

Yes, absolutely. Connecting with pets that have passed is one of the most meaningful parts of my work. Many pet owners find enormous comfort and closure in knowing their beloved companion is at peace and still very much connected to them. For those who are grieving, these sessions can be a powerful and healing part of moving through loss — a gentle reminder that the bond between a pet and their person doesn’t end when they cross the Rainbow Bridge.

How is this different from a vet visit?

A veterinary visit centers on the physical — the exam, the diagnostics, the medical treatment. My sessions center on something different: how your pet actually feels. What are they thinking? What do they need? What are they trying to tell you? The two approaches complement each other beautifully. With 14 years in veterinary medicine, I’ll tell you when something sounds like it needs a veterinarian’s attention.

How do I pay for my session?

Payment is due when you book. It’s processed securely through PayPal, and Pay Later / Pay in 4 options are available for those who qualify.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Life happens, with animals especially! If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know at least 24 hours before your session. You can use the links in your confirmation email. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, and missed sessions, may be charged 50% of the session fee.

Animal communication is complementary and is not a substitute for veterinary diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care. If your animal is ill, injured, in pain, or in immediate distress, please contact a licensed veterinarian or emergency veterinary clinic.
